Comune di Procida
Last year I was asked from Comune di Procida to re-design their communication. I gave the logo a little refreshing, too. Less creativity, more technicalities: simplicity wins again.

Working with public entities is a big challenge, for a designer. Sometimes their identities are old and need a complete new way of communicate. The primary need is balancing aesthetic sense and strict rules, to make everything understandable by everyone.
Starting with a 18-stripes grid, I recreated the logo in a more geometrical way. My approach has been scientific: grids, geometry, alignments. The color palette is extremely synthetic: it is just composed by two colors.
The result is enthusiastic, in its simplicity. The new image of Comune di Procida is totally refreshed and can be well adapted and used in the digital application as website, social media, online communication.
